3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
[cask at the Wellington, Birmingham] Clear golden colour, long-lasting white head with no real rising carbonation to speak of. Slight aroma of hops, on the palate tastes like an easy-drinking golden ale – good balance of hops and malt with citrus flavours coming to the fore. Dry at the finish but not really biscuity. Highly sessionable and very, very nice

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[Cask at the Back of Beyond, Reading] Gold, small white head. Crisp, clean, light and refreshing with floral hops and a long, dry citrus finish. Possibly a little one dimensional, and I could quickly get bored of it, but nevertheless if you want a quick pint of a really refreshing golden ale, this would definitely hit the mark.
