Rather liked this simple ale. Light, soft, velvety body and light but complimentary hops.

Cask in the rake. Alround rating: Pale and honey sweet malt, citrusy and fresh, finish just kind of dies not too much bitterness. Still nice session drink.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond, Reading] Gold, small white head. Crisp, clean, light and refreshing with floral hops and a long, dry citrus finish. Possibly a little one dimensional, and I could quickly get bored of it, but nevertheless if you want a quick pint of a really refreshing golden ale, this would definitely hit the mark.

Cask (Black Door, Helsinki)
Pale yellow, small loose head. Slightly farty fruity hop aroma. Big citrus lemon zest kick in the mouth, but has no depth. Fairly tasty simple malts and a decent bitter bite, which stays for a bitter finish. OK golden ale. Very good for using only nobly UK hops - others would run off to new-world hops, I’m sure.

Cask at the Wellington, 29th December 2008. Absolutely exquisite. Very dry, hoppy and sharply bitter. Pale gold colour with white mainly diminishing head. A good ale for a session, and recommended.

Coarse white lasting head. Yellow body. Faint dusty fruity aroma. Dry floral wooden taste with some sweetness. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Light-bodied. Dry lingering wooden dandelion aftertaste. Nice, light, drinkable, not terribly remarkable. (0.25l cask, The Harp, Covent Garden, London.)

500ml Bottle - Golden coloured with a white head and moderate carbonation. Grassy and hoppy aroma with pineapple and tea. Fairly hoppy taste with grapefruit, pineapple and a pleasant bitterness. The bitterness fades a bit in the finish but is still very pleasant.
