500ml bottle from Sainsbury's. Poured clear. Rich amber in colour with a large, long lasting frothy white head. Good lacing throughout consumption. Malty, subtly spiced aroma. Floral and rich, sweet caramel flavours with a hoppy, malty, bitter taste developing.

Bottle, 4.5%. Faintly fruity hop aroma. Clear amber colour. Small frothy head. The flavour is caramelly with a slightly spicy hop. Medium bitterness. Seems to have a little smoke in the finish, but that might just be my imagination.

Bottle at home. Clear amber pour, thick white head. Aroma is spicy, some licorice, creamy malts and some caramel. Flavor is quite bitter, smooth creamy malts and very British. Nice and well balanced, thick body for the low ABV and a smooth texture.
