Appearance amber and clear with a nice solid light tan head. Aroma slightly soapy with a barrel - like sweetness. Taste gentle same clean barrel taste on the tongue to a slight light sweetness then into a gently toasted wooden malty medium depth that bites back a bit in a very pleasant way.

Bottled) OK Im tired of these god damn bitters ,really I’m done rating them. Its all typical butterscotch, caramel and apples, some earthy notes. who cares ?so boring. Any cascade hops are really not used with any flair.

Dark amber beer with a fine malty flavour which disappeared leaving a sharp citrus ending. Unspectacular session ale

Copper-coloured beer sampled on draught. Good foamy white head, and hoppy., slightly citrus aromas. The taste is exceptionally clean, with a very gentle maltiness balanced by powerful English hop flavours. Merest hint of orange peel. Very nice beer but just a little watery. Highly quaffable.

Bottle. Clear amber copper beer with a large white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of caramel, toffee, herbs, nuts, citrus and peaches. Flavor is malty with notes of caramel, herbs, apricots, nuts and dried fruit. Great balance!

Bottle pour@5e Mondial de la Bière, Mulhouse - FR. Thin amber orange, flattish pour. Aromatic orange zest, suave biscuit caramalts, more orange marmelade and citrus on an exquisitely clean, near-watery palate. Lingering citrus aftertaste.

Tasted this in Tennents Bar, Glasgow on 8th September 2014. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale copper in colour with a thin white creamy head. Slight note of sweet caramel on the nose. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Mixed malts deliver a digestive biscuit base with hints of light toffee and syrupy prunes. There is a distinct spicy black pepper flavour evident in the short bitter aftertaste. Finish is malty with dry vinous notes present in the palate. Not what I was expecting from the pump clip and pleasantly surprised as this is a excellent session Amber Ale with Autumnal overtones all the way through.
