Brewed with heart and soul. Cross swords with this orange-hued, rye-infused IPA and you’re sure to succumb. Combined in its made-in-Warwickshire ranks are Galaxy, Simcoe and Chinook hops for subtle fruit notes, reinforced by bold-as-brass bitterness.

Cask at Birmingham Beer Bash 2013. Whisper it, but this became... Thickly sweet and tangy hops, like a mouth based liquid paste. Of golden hops.

Flavours are sweet toffee with light, pithy grapefruit and white grape fruitiness with dry grape skin. Hints of pineapple with a peppery, dry finish. Leafy with hints of green pine. Nice hops.

Cask at the Castle - Farringdon, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a frothy, off-white head. Nose is heaving with ripe and dank tropical fruits: melon, mango, papaya. Medium sweet flavor with lots of juicy fruits, tropical and citrus like, with light bread and pine, melon and orange. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Moderately sweet to finish, subtly resinous, with sticky and ripe tropical fruits, a bit of bitter orange rind. Impressively solid.

Cask handpull at The Old Buttermarket Canterbury. Clear amber colour lasting thin white head. Flowery floral aroma. Wow that is hoppy. Good hops though. Tropical fruit not very bitter on the finish but some sting. Very decent. I liked this especially the tropical fruit

Gypsy Moth, Greenwich. Lovely day. Just finished the Greenwich Park 10K, and then strolled down to the village to meet up with others, and we come to the Gypsy Moth, with its lovely beer garden overlooking the Cutty Sark. Last time I was here was when I had just been passed on my Tefl course, and we came here to celebrate. On getting home I was breathalysed, and lost my licence!
Anyway - the beer! Sweet malt with pleasant assertive but not aggressive citric hops. Some English character to this otherwise fairly straightforward APA. Nice. I marked the abv as 4.8% - but I may have been mistaken.....

Cask at some Nicholson’s pub on London bridge. Dirty amber pour with basically no head. Nose is light pine and earthy hops. More sweet than bitter. It’s ok but nothing special
