Christian (11021) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2013 Hazy amber with a lasting white head. Malty aroma of bread and biscuit, with herbal hops. Malty flavour with a hint of toffee, a hint of plums, and plenty of herbal and grassy hops for a lingering, bitter finish

(Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Draught. Amber color, small offwhite head. Roasted malt aroma, milky and with diacetyl notes. Roasted chocolate flavor, a bit sourish and bitter.

imdownthepub (9954) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2008
Draught at Purkmistr Brewpub, Plzen-Cernice. Hazed amber with cream head. Heavier caramel malted beer, good to see it down as a Vienna. There was a little sweetness from the malt with a fruity, peachy note in there. A bready hoppy finish, not my favourite, but ok.

Bov (9245) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - APR 23, 2013
courtesy of Vladi and Marco - pretty clear reddish-amber beer with a modest foam left; earthy and grassy hoppiness; a solid carbonation, tart and fairly bitter; dry and long grassy, flowery and earthy finish; pretty spicy

On tap at the brewpub: Amber coloured, mid-sized off-white creamy head; herbal yeasty nose; scratchy-bitter flavour, light bodied; bready, yeasty herbal finish. Unbalanced and a bit too yeasty.......

draft at the source. this is it. dark amber body, fluffy and creamy white head. dense and robust nuttiness with savory toasted malt and a lightly sweet caramel / toffee / maple malt character with pronounced dryness and toastiness rising late. perfectly balanced. lovely.

As 12 degrees (what I wrote down)
Shady copper color, fluffy and creamy of-white head. Mildfruity and hoppy scent with some caramel. Hoppy and sweet taste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

motelpogo (6203) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 30, 2007
UPDATED: JUL 2, 2008 on tap at the brewpub. quite a bright copperish colour, rocky head with light bubbles. worty aroma suggesting this could need a bit more lagering, hint of cleaning products, only a light grassy hop character. lightly citric flavour - lemon rind and some rotting orange. quite messy and frothy, hint of infection which is a bit disappointing considering the brewery is newly installed. a fair amount of bitterness but not a lot of saaz character. hopefully they will fix this up a bit, it wasn’t available last time i was out at the brewery which suggests the brewer realised it wasn’t up to standard
