on tap at the brewpub, a couple of weeks after xmas so perhaps not the freshest. anyways, faintly hazy but bright golden with a lasting head; aroma of red berry and butterscotch; slightly dusty malt character, decent hit of hops; nothing really that says christmas beer about it, more like a crisp maibock
