thewolf (3651), Kolding, Denmark Sep 6, 2008 Bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours a very dark coppery brown with a great, small, creamy, white head. Aroma is powerfully malty, good caramel, some roasted malts and very nice earthy, flowery hops. Good, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly roasted, some chocolate and a pretty dry, chocolate and hoppy finish. Good porter. It is impressive how these low-alcohol beers maintain all the diversity of more powerful brews. leaparsons (3906), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Aug 31, 2008 Cask, Peterborough Fest 08.
