Cask at GBBF 2007. A copper colored beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a slight touch of hops, while the flavor is plainly sweet malty with notes of caramel.

Bottle. A bit unclear, copper-like pour, with a small, off-white head-like foam on top. The nose started a bit cardboard-like, with some caramel and malt. Mostly caramel in the flavor, but the cardboard-like thing is present here as well. Thin, quite watery body, and a pleasant hoppiness in the finish. It’s quaffable, but the cardboard thing ruins the experience a bit. (071005)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Somewhat fat, nutty aroma. Fairly light-bodied with a little roasted malt, nutty accents and a vaguely burned edge. Lightly bitter finish. Quite decent. 051007

50 cL bottle, thanks to yngwie for trading this and putting it on Papsøs table. Pours hazy orange with a lacing light orange head. Sweet malty a bit of fruity hops in the aroma. Starts caramel malty, not as sweet as expected. Reveals some fruityness that goes into a rather herbal bitterness in the finish. Somewhat strange and undefineable.

Rastacouere (6058) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 3, 2007
Clearish amber body wearing an enormously lacy white head. Quite toasty, very fresh nose of chamomile and various, vinous fruits complemented by gentle floral aromas and a earthy, golding finish. Competent mineral flavours accompany the rest all through and limit the sweetness at once.

Copper colour with a small head. Malty aroma with toffee and a hint of butter. Dry, fruity flavour with some bitterness and a grapefruit finish.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear amber color with a large, frothy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty, light hoppy, butter. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. (Nutty bitternes) Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat.

Cask@GBBF2007. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Lacing. Aroma is slightly wooden with some slight grassy hoppy hints. Flavour is roasted malts, very dry earthyness and some slight metallicness. Aftertaste is bigtime grassy.

500ml bottle from Harlech Spar. A well balanced and very flavoursome beer. Nice toffee malt with citric, earthy and fragrant hops. This tastes like whole leaf hops. A blisteringly good session ale. Some extra character would push this higher - but it’s a fine, well made drinking beer.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Spar in Tremadog and supped on Black Rock beach. Lovely yellow brown colour with good head and lace. Sessionable bready yeasty bitter with some toffee and plenty of hops. Nice bitter finish.
