My Bottom Line:
Elderflowers dominate this straightforward brew, growing in a slender mouthfeel sealed by delicate hop bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the clear golden.
-The flavour profile is simple, but if you like elderflowers this does the trick.
-Drinkability is very high, but the return factor isn’t. One pint is more than enough.
-Elderflower dosage is intelligent. It’s there just enough to make it obvious it’s been used, but it isn’t too intense as to make you sick of it quickly.

On cask at The General Havelock, Hastings.

Pours with barely any head and yellow lager body. Aroma is soft lager with berry hints. Flavour is definitely elderflower but not overpowering, well balanced.

Bottle shared at level 42 Canary wharf tasting. 11/07/2016. A bright yello straw coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is little floral elderflower, straw, hint of nuts. Flavour is composed of light grains, some fruity English yeast esters. Palate is easy going moderate, carbonation decent enough. Easy going.

500cl bottle shared at the July CW tasting, London. Many thanks to Fergus for this one. It pours a clean yellow color with a minimal white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy with light notes of melon and starch. Taste is also medium sweet and closes bitter with big notes of starch and light caramel and biscuit. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, meh

Bottle share at Level 42, with thanks to Fergus. As ’Purple Moose Cwrw Ysgawen’. My 199th Welsh rating. Dark yellow, still, clear, foamy white head. Aroma is buttery malt, bready, bread and butter, light elderflower. Body is smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is light bready malt, elderflower, smooth drinking, no real bitterness. Sort of like a pale mild. Drinkable and clean.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Fergus. Pours clear yellow-gold with a faint, white foam head. The nose has some pale grains, hints of green pepper, hay. Light sweet flavour with dry doughy pale bread, lemon rind, faint spicy elderflower, more hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with further faintly spicy green pepper, sweet pale bread, very slig bitter hay. Quite basic but the elderflower makes it a little more interesting.
