Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass. Pours a clear light golden colour with a small head that leaves a bit lasting. Smells wonderful, refreshing and sweet of elderflower and cascade hops. Tastes fairly watery, but not weak. Light hops and a slight hint of elderflower again, with light malts balancing it out slightly. Overall a great beer for the summer, very refreshing.

Piwo ciekawe i napewno nietypowe. Wyglad to jak cydr bez pianki ze sporym nagazowaniem i jakby szampanskimi babelkami. Klarowna barwa i jaskrawo zolta. W zapachu dziki bez w smaku dziki bez, cytryny i kwasne pomarancze, w zapachu sporo wrazen kwiatowych, wrzosy i lawenda. Ogolny odbior to lekkie piwo gorzko kwaskowe. Ale ten bez jest wszechobecny. Fajne choc nie powalajace piwo jak dla mnie

Sample at GBBF 2016, Wednesday. Clear pale golden beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy grape aroma, citrus, peach, hay notes. Hoppy orange flavor, grapes, floral notes, some red grapes. Quite ok.

Cask at the Robin Hood, Amblecote. Pours bright gold with a small head. Aroma is pissy floral jelly. Taste is grainy to start with a light elderflower finish.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. Clear yellow golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, quite grassy, grassy hops, slightly hay, moderately bitter. I quite like this one.

Gbbf. Klares hell goldgelbes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch leicht zitronig hopfig, Gewürze, helles malz. Geschmack leicht hopfig, zitronig, spritzig.

My Bottom Line:
Elderflowers dominate this straightforward brew, growing in a slender mouthfeel sealed by delicate hop bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the clear golden.
-The flavour profile is simple, but if you like elderflowers this does the trick.
-Drinkability is very high, but the return factor isn’t. One pint is more than enough.
-Elderflower dosage is intelligent. It’s there just enough to make it obvious it’s been used, but it isn’t too intense as to make you sick of it quickly.

On cask at The General Havelock, Hastings.

Pours with barely any head and yellow lager body. Aroma is soft lager with berry hints. Flavour is definitely elderflower but not overpowering, well balanced.

Bottle shared at level 42 Canary wharf tasting. 11/07/2016. A bright yello straw coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is little floral elderflower, straw, hint of nuts. Flavour is composed of light grains, some fruity English yeast esters. Palate is easy going moderate, carbonation decent enough. Easy going.

500cl bottle shared at the July CW tasting, London. Many thanks to Fergus for this one. It pours a clean yellow color with a minimal white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy with light notes of melon and starch. Taste is also medium sweet and closes bitter with big notes of starch and light caramel and biscuit. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, meh

Bottle share at Level 42, with thanks to Fergus. As ’Purple Moose Cwrw Ysgawen’. My 199th Welsh rating. Dark yellow, still, clear, foamy white head. Aroma is buttery malt, bready, bread and butter, light elderflower. Body is smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is light bready malt, elderflower, smooth drinking, no real bitterness. Sort of like a pale mild. Drinkable and clean.
