4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a clear light golden colour with a small head that leaves a bit lasting.
Smells wonderful, refreshing and sweet of elderflower and cascade hops.
Tastes fairly watery, but not weak. Light hops and a slight hint of elderflower again, with light malts balancing it out slightly.
Overall a great beer for the summer, very refreshing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
My Bottom Line:
Elderflowers dominate this straightforward brew, growing in a slender mouthfeel sealed by delicate hop bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the clear golden.
-The flavour profile is simple, but if you like elderflowers this does the trick.
-Drinkability is very high, but the return factor isn’t. One pint is more than enough.
-Elderflower dosage is intelligent. It’s there just enough to make it obvious it’s been used, but it isn’t too intense as to make you sick of it quickly.
On cask at The General Havelock, Hastings.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours with barely any head and yellow lager body. Aroma is soft lager with berry hints. Flavour is definitely elderflower but not overpowering, well balanced.

Aroma is buttery malt, bready, bread and butter, light elderflower. Body is smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is light bready malt, elderflower, smooth drinking, no real bitterness. Sort of like a pale mild. Drinkable and clean.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Fergus. Pours clear yellow-gold with a faint, white foam head. The nose has some pale grains, hints of green pepper, hay. Light sweet flavour with dry doughy pale bread, lemon rind, faint spicy elderflower, more hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with further faintly spicy green pepper, sweet pale bread, very slig bitter hay. Quite basic but the elderflower makes it a little more interesting.
