3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: SEP 14, 2013 Draft served in a pint glass at the restaurant (Frisco Taphouse; Columbia, MD). Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, light milk chocolate, some dark fruit and vanilla. Taste is light milk chocolate sweetness and roast. Medium body, average carbonation, great velvety soft texture with sweet roast finish. Solid heavier-then-average porter, the softness was my favorite part.

The naming was a bit confusing - I sat down at Frisco Tap House and Brewery in Columbia, Maryland, and nobody explained to me that the in-house brews were under the Push brand - the microbrewery at Frisco brewery is not named Frisco.
All of that out of the way - the beer was a solid, malty porter. Nice sweetness, only a little bitterness. Nothing amazing, but a smooth-drinking, enjoyable beer. Went very nicely with a blue cheese and bacon burger.
