3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAY 4, 2012 Bottle. The pour was a hazy medium orange amber with a small (1 finger or less) white fizzy head that was totally diminishing in a matter of seconds and basically had no lacing to speak of.
The aroma was very strong with the scent of apricots, along with a mild grain malt and a large dose of a sweet doughy yeast and not much else.
The taste was lightly sweet and very yeasty with a big fruity apricot note throughout with the finish being somewhat tart and big on wheat flavor. The flavor lasted an average amount of time after the swallow with a fruity tart wheat flavor left to lying on the taste buds for a little while.
Mouthfeel was just above light in body and somewhat watery in texture with a fizzy carbonation.
Overall a decent fruity brew with a nice wheat feel, a great beer for those days relaxing on the deck in the summer...

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Murky apricot colored ale with a sheet of white. Smells like a cheap american weisssbier knockoff with a hint of sweetened apricot juice. Flavor is watery and empty. Some apricot hints and plenty of plain wheat flavor. Brutally thin and with lower carb and a semi dry finish. This beer is poorly conducted.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours yellow with white head. Taste apricots, sweet. I thought this was so so. I could drink this again.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Purchased at Albertsons in their make your 6-pack, in Vegas. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a big creamy white head, good retention and lots of sticky lace. Smells like apricot shampoo. The taste is kind of weird as well, with the blend between the fruit and the wheat. Maybe itís natural and I am not used it ? Maybe too fake ?? Prefer the McAuslan Apricot one.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A mostly clear yellow body with a thin white head that had mild retention and no lace. Aroma had a strong apricot presence. No real wheat note. Some mild malts but the it was mostly one dimensional. Flavor had a wheat presence up front but it was mild and slightly bitter. Apricot came through strong again, almost too much. Finish was smooth and body was light.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle. (Jungle Jimís) Fairfield, OH.
Hazy amber colour with a small white head.
Wheat, some sweet fruitiness and yeast in the aroma.
Yeast, sweet caramel malt, some strange fruitiness, mild tartness and toffe in the flavour. Not much apricot though. Quite bad...

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Past the BB date, but who cares, itís not an IPA.
A: Pours an apri-- Iím not going to say it. Iím just going to say it pours a golden orange color. There are a few specks of yeast sediment floating around in there, too. The head is a frothy-looking eggshell shade one fingers high. Retention is low and thereís minimal - if any - lacing left on the glass.
S: Apricots aplenty. Thatís good and all, but the fact they seem a bit sweet and extract-y is a turnoff. Another turnoff: the dregs seem to have a cheesy aroma to it. íCourse, I still poured them in the glass anyways, because Iím a boss like that.
T: Sweet apricots start and finish this one off. Did I mention sweet? The only thing to break up the monotony is a touch of back end tartness. On the plus side, I donít pick up much cheesiness in the flavor, so that good. I guess.
M: High carbonation and an off-dry finish do an okay job of scrubbing away some of the palate sweetness. Still too sweet, but not as stupidly cloying as it could have been. Not particularly easy to drink.
O: Meh. How many different ways can you say íchick beerí?

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is apricot and wheat. Appearance is hazy apricot color with small off white head, Taste is all apricot with a bit of wheat. Palate is medium. Apricot lingers. Overall a decent fruit beer. Apricot comes across as completely artificial but still drinkable. Very one dimensional.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Yuck. Didn't like this at all. Poured a hazy amber. Over carbonated. Lots of fruit on the nose and palate. Some orange also. Too sweet.
