40oz (182), Newport Beach, California, USA Sep 16, 2002 Cloudy, yeasty appearance. Strong Apricot aroma and flavor with a hint of caramel and wit twang. Bitter, watery, with no discerable sweetness.
noncaloric (22), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Aug 25, 2008 Bottle, pilsner glass. Pours an opaque orange-gold. The fluffy white head has some staying power, and leaves a little lacing. Aroma of apricots, lemons, sweet corn? Flavor much the same, apricots and citrus are the dominant notes, a bit of a grassy finish. The fruits are nice, but there’s not much else here, and the sweetness gets a bit cloying, like someone slipped a hard candy into my beer. The suds give a modest creaminess to the mouthfeel. awautlet (39), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Aug 24, 2008 Golden in color with a crisp white head. Nose abundant apricots with hints of wheat intermingling. The palate is smooth and light with a bit of hop followed by a hint of apricot on the finish. Very refreshing and easy drinking! slf245 (29), USA Aug 22, 2008 Left a little sticky, morning breath-esque taste in the mouth post drink, but during each sip the flavor of apricots was good (definitely could taste the apricot!), thogh I wish it was more refreshing and less sweet. brewcrew2002 (17), USA Aug 22, 2008 Pours a nice orangish red with a small head apricot was suprisingly good, at first i did’t know what to think of this one at first. phishpond417 (1409), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 20, 2008 sampled from bottle: pours a cloudy orange colour with a medium white top. Aroma is pleasent, light, inviting and fresh- plenty of apricot and peach aroma. Taste is fruity, apricot flavored (duh) and delightfuly carbonated.
