djd07 (346), Houston, Texas, USA Sep 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange yellow color with a small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is very sweet fruit; apricot and peach. The taste is a sweet peach and a clean finish. The sweetness is a little overpowering but still good. Mr_Stitch (138), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours light orange with a two finger head that disappears quickly. Aroma is filled with apricots and sweet malts. Taste is a bit thin much like Coors mixed with apricots. Mouthfeel is bubbley and dry. Not really a favorite for me. DandyWolfFloyd (233), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 2, 2008 This fruit beer, is not my favorite. It’s aroma is certainly full of apricots, and nice floral aromas, and sweet malt scents. It’s appearance is an orange cloudy color, with almost no head. It’s flavor is full of sweet fruit (apricot), sweet malts. The palate it’s not overly sweet, it’s actually rather tart, but in a nicely balanced way, but it’s really an experience only an apricot or fruit beer would enjoy. It’s refresing, but for me is only good for one use. It’s best value probaly would be for cooking. triquito (6), Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada does not count Aug 30, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of apricot is quite bold, but not overdone. Hints of wheat also perceived in the background. This beer has a mild sweet apricot flavor well complemented by the tartness coming from the wheat. However, it lacks presence in mouth. A good refreshing beer for a warm summer day (if you like apricots). noncaloric (52), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Aug 25, 2008 Bottle, pilsner glass. Pours an opaque orange-gold. The fluffy white head has some staying power, and leaves a little lacing. Aroma of apricots, lemons, sweet corn? Flavor much the same, apricots and citrus are the dominant notes, a bit of a grassy finish. The fruits are nice, but there’s not much else here, and the sweetness gets a bit cloying, like someone slipped a hard candy into my beer. The suds give a modest creaminess to the mouthfeel.
