Commercial Description:
Our flavorful apricot ale boldly combines the taste and aroma of fresh apricot with the smooth finish of wheat malt. Its refreshingly unfiltered character and fruit flavor make it an ale worth savoring.

Bottled twice now (thanks to Jim and Wyl!). I want to give it a third shot. Thick artificial nose and flavor of apricot fighting with the "beer" flavor of malts. Too much going on to be a hot summer day sipping beer, too sweet for anything else.

I was afraid at first because of the idea of drinking a "fruity" beer but once I tasted it I fell in love. a great thick beer with an apricot flavor that compliments the beer flavor. my favorite part is when I finish I can see the wheat sludging down the bottom of the bottle. its very thick.

From an old rating note: 12oz bottle. hazy orange pour. sweet apricot smell. bit of an odd balance of the apricot and wheat in the taste. little bit watery a palate. crisp and drinkable enough.

Bottle: Came in a variety pack. First impression in good, strong Apricot aroma, finish is soft, one dimensional. Foods Pairing: Apple Strudel.

Pours apricot color with a thin white head and a strong apricot aroma. It is indeed a refreshing drink, and the apricot is prevalent in the flavor. There is a carbonated mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish. Better than I thought it would be.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with small white foamy head. Aroma is apricot, some slight sweet malts as well as mild cardboard. Flavour is quite much the same with some parfumes soapy notes. Quite watery.

12 oz. bottle from a mix pack from QFC. Nice haze orange color. Not much of a head on this thing but still pretty good. There is a nice subtle apricot aroma that stimulates the nostrils. Fairly pungent for a fruit beer. Not a bad aroma whatsoever. The apricot aroma is very sweet and distinct. There is a nice apricot flavor, but there is this off-putting malt flavor that just kills it for me. Well, it doesn’t kill it but it gets in the way enough for me not to thing this thing is as great as it should be. The apricot reigns supreme in this beer. Out of the mix pack this is the best I think, or the 2nd best. Relatively smooth beer.

Pours a slightly cloudy pale gold with a nice sized off-white head that is mostly lasting. Nose is apricot and bubble gum. Very light, creamy and bubbly on the palate. Taste is apricot and wheat with a nice dry, not sweet, finish. Pairs well with light snacks or turkey/chicken sandwiches.

Really good stuff, nice nose and flavors of apricot mixed in with a smooth bodied, easy drinking beer. Nice balance of malty and fruit flavors.
