COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flavorful apricot ale boldly combines the taste and aroma of fresh apricot with the smooth finish of wheat malt. Its refreshingly unfiltered character and fruit flavor make it an ale worth savoring.

Note: Previously Pyramid Audacious Apricot Ale.

12 oz bottle from three cellars (franklin, wi). Pours a duller golden hazy hue with moderate cakey white head that laces some. Aromas are a nice apricot, not quite cloying, with a cereal graininess and a touch of stink. Fair enough. Initial is nice apricot and grainy balance, a little one dimensional but is not overly sweet, but is well done. A very refreshing summer drinker. Finishes with light bitterness, but some good apricot remains on the palate and aftertaste. Interesting graininess that I wouldn’t have pegged as wheat.

Very strong fruit aroma. Great colorful beer, but the taste is a bit sour.. This beer should be labled "malt beverage". This is coming from someone who loves fruit-style beers (leinenkugel-sunset wheat, sam adams cherry wheat, etc) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pyramid is a wonderful brew out of the Northwest Coast. Its logo and design is very catchy, and the apricots shine and balance the beer perfectly.

Found this one in the back of a friend’s fridge. Pleasantly surprised with this wheaty peachy brew

Poured into a pint glass with almost a finger of head on a hazy, orange colored body. The aroma is almost all apricot; a fresh ripe apricot. Really nice. The taste has banana and lemon with apricot taking the lead. Good balance for a fruit beer. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. For its style, I love it. Great on a warm, yard work day.

Golden apricot like color..actively carbonated as expected...taste is refreshing and light..surprised by the simplicity of this..not trying to do to much..a pretty good refreshing wheat beer..apricot with a slight chaser of mango presence..finishes with a crisp wheat note..yeh is it the most full flavored brew in the world, no..but worth trying..

This was a day full of fruit beers. Not bad, decent actually. Can definitely taste some of the apricot.

12 oz from the bottle. A fruity lightly sweet aroma. The flavor is wheat malts, lemon peel and apricots. Smooth and unfiltered feel, not too bad.

Pours hazy, old gold with a short, off-white head. Aroma is musty apricot, quietly sweet. An easy-going flavour, not overly sweet. Crisp and carbonated. Dry .... a bit boring.
