motelpogo (4111), Plzen, Czech Republic Dec 5, 2004 on tap at the pyramid alehouse. one of the worst beers i have ever tasted. only 3 discernible flavours - raw sugar and compost and metho. felt a little ill after tasting this. ghastly Ubiquibeer (140), Cleveland, USA Sep 10, 2004 No NO NOOOO. This is NOT a Tripel. Really really sweet with over ripe fruit and tangy syrupy off balance mouth feel. As it warmed it became very cloying and irritating to me. Not a good example of a tripel for somebody who really doesn’t like them very often anyway. JoeMcPhee (3643), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Jun 26, 2004 Very pale, almost colourless beer with a thin white head. Candi sugar, apple, and some lemon are present. Flavour is similar, but very thin bodied and a huge amount of ethanol taste completely ruin the balance. Not enough malt and way too much sugar. I’d skip this one. duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jun 17, 2004 Tap@Pyramid Alehouse. My god, you never want to have this beer. This was some sort of special beer they were doing when we were down at the alehouse. My advice would be to stick to the lighter styles these guys do. This was almost undrinakble. Belgian yeast, super sweet malt/candy sugar? Brandy and rotten apples (i mean really rotten).
