European Saisons are a perfect summer and harvest time specialty style. Characteristics of Saisons are a full orange color; powerful carbonation; a creamy soft texture with a very fruity, citric sourness and often spicy notes. Saisons are light and easy drinking, and are often lower in alcohol, making for a great session style ale.

On tap Pyramid Seattle location Pours out a cloudy gold topped with a white head. Aroma was notes of citrus orange and some lemeon and a little spice. Taste was more of the spice and some citrus a little yeast. This was almost like a whit. Just ok.

Draft at the alehouse in Walnut Creek. A pale golden beer with a thin lazing head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and citrus as well as hints of lactic acid. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, malt, and lemon, leading to a lightly acidic finish. The body is on the light side.
