Clear, light copper color pour with a thin tan head. Light aroma of toasted grain, sweet malt and hops. Slightly sweet flavor of malt and light fruit, followed by a mild hoppy finish. Not bad to enjoy once a year.

Thin light brown head on copper. Soft caramel aroma. Hint of vanilla and a trace of tin. A drinkable autumn beer. Amped up amber or lite winter warmer. Malty, a touch of spiciness. A tinge of metallic. Vanilla notes are not overdone. Light caramel toffee with a nice dose of hops.

04.11.2008. On Tap at the coast Wenatchee Center Hotel, Wa. The colour is light brown to copper. Aroma is malty.

On tap @ Oakland Airport poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, citrus and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel and fruittiness with a crisp lightly sweet finish.

<br /><b>9/26/2007</b>: Pyramid Broken Rake has a malty and sugary caramel aroma with a malty flavor containing tea, floral hops, and something spicy in the finish &#40;cinnammon perhaps?&#41;. This beer is well-balanced between a moderate sweetness and a mild hoppiness. Medium-bodied and smooth.
