ChrisBeest (43), Corvallis, Oregon, USA Feb 18, 2002 I’ve always liked a good Amber, this one certainly isn’t displeasing, but not the best seasonal.
dwyerpg (2042), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Aug 28, 2008 A light malty aroma. Quite a bit of caramel in the aroma. Not aggressive in the flavor. Quite sweet with a bit of strength in the finish and a coatingness to it. improvjock (45), USA Aug 17, 2008 Pours a reddish amber color, with small off-white head. Aroma of caramel and sweet malts. Tastes sweet and malty (no surprise) and is pretty smooth. Pretty well balanced. I really enjoyed this beer, and though I wish it were available year round, it tastes like fall. carruthm (365), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 8, 2008 decent pour, light amber with a small to medium sized head. couldn’t pick up much of a nose though the flavor had caramel and citrus with some hops as well Goodgrief (1018), Middletown, Delaware, USA Mar 29, 2008 Oct. 2007 - Chestnut amber color with half finger head and very little lacing. Aroma was rather nondescript malty. Flavor was nutty, roasty with a touch of caramel. Much less caramel than the typical amber. As it warmed some sweet citrus reminiscent of lemongrass emerged. Not bad! Beerded_one (1580), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 15, 2007 Bottle sampled. Pours amber in color with a off-white head. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, light citrus, and floral hops. Flavor is sweet malts, caramel, citrus and has a subtle hop finish
