Our Chai Weat is an unfiltered, fusion-inspired brew designed to be a unique alternative to commonplace wheat beers. With essence of Chai tea, noble hops and gracious amounts of sweet caramel malts, the result is a well rounded, sweet, and robust wheat beer, distinctive in its class.

Got this in a variety 12-pack for the holidays. Smooth, easy to drink; to me itís almost exactly like the Pyramid apricot, just without the apricot, and maybe a little spice added. I donít pick up much "chai."

"Pretty spot on for what they were going for/advertised. Iíve always liked chai tea and so therefore liked this beer. if you donít, you wonít simple as that. Zero alcohol evident. Nice feel. Cool brew."

Sampled as part of a Costco mix pack. A nicely made brew with a Chai hit. The wheat texture is nice, creamy.

Bottle:   Deep orangish amber, thick and dirty, small sudsy white head, little lacing.   Spicy Chai nose, also a little fruity.   Actually smells pretty good.   I was thinking Pyramid, yeah... but so far so good.   Nice balance is the first thing, not overbearing Chai (I keep wanting to spell chair), nice wheat malt base.   Moderate sweetness.   Somewhat surprised by this one.   I donít say this often about Pyramid anymore, but wouldnít mind if this was a year round offering.   Nice spicy Chai on the finish.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   A nice take in their otherwise mediocre Hefe.   Love the new labels too.   Better than I anticipated is what I will take away from this experience.   Has just the right amount of sweetness where when I finish, I want another.

I got this from a friend who bought it from a store that carries mostly ďout-datedĒ beer. This pours a murky, dirty orange color with a foamy, off-white head. There is mostly the aroma of oranges mixed with spice. The taste is a little unusual as I have never had chai flavored beer before. Itís a heavier wheat beer with fairly bold spices. It leaves a lingering after taste that invites you to take another sip. Not to bad overall.

Bottle. Pours a clear, dark golden color with an OK white head. Nice, wheat aroma with a hint of berries and some spice. Smooth taste with some malt and spice. Hint of blueberries in the flavor as well. Interesting beer.

Sample at the Seattle brewpub. The beer pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head that diminishes slowly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of wheat and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of malt, chai tea and wheat. The finish is wheaty with s mildly spiced aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Pours a hazy orange with a bit of off-white head. Smell is butt-sweat, giving way to a bit of barnyard funk. Taste is initially similar to carbonated water, but again has some funk behind it, slightly sour with some citrus-fruit rind in the background. fairly full mouthfeel, which is interesting. Leaves me feeling like I just ate a grapefruit.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle from the winter pack. Pours to a hazy orange with a quickly dissipating small white head. Aroma is has a bash of spice, including the sweet spice chai. Flavor is effervescent and puts the spice on the front of the mouth to the back. dominated by the spice. No real sense of a wheatiness like other hefeweizen, due to the spice. Has a fizzy, oily feel, and a decent lingering chai flavor. Unique, and rather enjoyable.

Poured from the winter pack. Aroma is very intense of spice, like tea. Flavor is also dominated by the spice. I guess a basic wheat is a good canvas. This beer is interesting. Burps up with less spices which is nice.

Easy to drink. A little on the light side. Only a hint of Chai spices. Nice on a winter day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
