2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 pinkzambia (1294) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 29, 2008
Bottle: Clear, pale gold with no head. Corny, grainy aroma. Thin, pseudo-sweet, sour flavors kind of like unripe vegetables. The flavor escapes the tongue quickly and in this case, I guess it isn’t bad. Ok.

Bottle Pours a pelucid light yellow/orange witha light and quick frothy head. Light grain aroma. A bit vegitative and papery. Lively palate and a slightly sweet cereal falvor.
Not much of the classic German Kris notes.
Nice try Pyramid.

Clear golden color with a moderate off-white head that settles to a solid lid of creamy bubbles. Dry, floury wheat aromas. A touch of fruit, but not much there otherwise. Crisp and clean in flavors. That said, not many flavors. Light sweet wheat, hints of light fruit and a bit of herbal hops. Some light citrus in the finish and linger.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 EithCubes (4198) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 27, 2008
Bottled as Crystal Wheat Ale. Slightly grainy, slightly wheaty aroma, dry. Golden pour with a white, lacing head and plenty of carbonation. Very crisp taste has faint wheat and phenol-tinged bread toward the back end, a slight rubber glove astringency with a poor malt base and peripheral lemon citrus. Light body but not watery. Boring and bland.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ditmier (1509) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 25, 2008
2008 Bottle - Pours yellow with a small white head, malty aroma, yeasty, citrusy - flavour is almost a cross between a sour and a hef, biscuity citrus, finishes clean and lemony, good summer brew....

Semi murky pale yellow with thin white head. Aroma of perfume-like sweet malt and a touch of yeast. Taste of sweet malts a little thin with a semi-dry finish. Pretty much a middle of the road beer.

Bottle. Poured a honey yellow with small white head. Nothing really stands out to me, but I enjoyed it. Light and refreshing, a good session beer.

Poured from tap at Berkeley Pyramid ale house, labeled crystal wheat ale, as a clear pale blonde ale with a small white head with low carbonation. Aroma of banana, caramel and malt. Flavor is lightly sweet with banana, honey, and malt. The palate is sweet with a light tartness and a slight carbonation tingle. Nice overall, could use more carbonation to pump up the spice tingle on tongue, but I would drink this one again.
