12oz bottle of Crystal Wheat Ale. Purely clear dark golden with nice head and good retention. Light, sweet malt aroma with a touch of spicy hops. Crisp wheat and light sweetness in the taste. Spicy hops and moderately bitter finish is more than I expected.
I expected zilch from this. But, I’m pleasantly surprised. I’d gladly drink this when looking for a light session beer any time. Very refreshing, yet taste is still there. Great baseball beer.

Sep 7, 2008 Bottle. Dissappearing white head leaves an applejuice color body with the slightest bit of haze. Aroma of sweet corn and wheat. Tastes very grainy. Medium thin body is refreshing but has moderate carbonation prick and leaves a slightly bitter sliickness on the tongue.

Aug 31, 2008 Bottle. Pours a yellow with a little white head. Smells of wheat, citrus and malt. Taste is the same, wheat, citrus, and a hint of orange. This is definately a summer beer. Very light easy drinking beer.

Aug 30, 2008 Bottle: Visions of light golden effervescense, nose is light wheat, some malt, flavor is light also, some wheat, malt and yeast... an easy drinking quaffer, a decent upgrade from the macro lagers, won’t blindside a newbie.

Aug 26, 2008 A delicious and very refreshing wheat ale. Aroma was so so. Grass with a hint of light malt. Pour was a nice light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was a nice mix of tartness and a hint of citrus. The strong carbonation overpowers the beer in a good way and makes the beer great in hot weather.

Aug 23, 2008 Medium gold body with a bright white head. the aroma is light cream of wheat with hints of lemon drops. The taste is bananas with lots of clove spice in the finish. This has more character thanI was expecting. A relatively thick and sticky mouthfeel, surprising as this is a filtered wheat brew. Decent.
