Bottle labeled Crystal Wheat Ale, and tagged an American Wheat Ale. Touch of wheat and clove in the aroma, but not much there. Pours a clear light amber with about half an inch of white head. The flavor is more hops then wheat. Bitter notes, touch of pith, and the barest hint of wheat. Very light mouthfeel. Not bad, but not the first thing I’d reach for.

Nov 20, 2008 11.17.08 Bottle. Pours clear yellow, thin white head. Aroma is faint malt and fruit. Flavor is malty, fruity, slighty hoppy, bubbly, or maybe I just notice the bubbles given the flavor. It’s on the girly side. Not awful. Pretty watery and light, but maybe this would be good for someone who likes diet-light flavored beers.

Nov 2, 2008 (bottle): Pours a clear dark yellow body. Big foamy head, off-white and diminishing. Malty and effervescent aroma. Sweet smelling with some light fruit like apple or pear. Some maltiness present too. Light fruity taste, light body. Nutty aftertaste. Tasty and aromatic.

Oct 18, 2008 Bottle from BevMo. Clear golden color upon pouring. Slightly sweet grainy aroma. Smells like your average American Wheat. Tastes like a million other wheat ales. Grainy with a little bit of spiciness. Drinkable, but uninspired.

Oct 15, 2008 Very weak. Pale yellow hazy color. Nose is grass corn and slight citrus. Taste is sugar, adjuncts, and stale wheat. Goes down easy because the mouthfeel is watery.

Oct 11, 2008 nothing spectacular here. thirst quenching, would call this a light wheat since the tang is not really there. came in a sample pack. i do like this brewery.
