killjoy966 (108), USA Apr 27, 2008 Doesn’t really smell like much. Not sure what a Kolsch beer is, but this tastes a lot like a typical American lager, minus the corn. A bit of citrus in the middle. Perfect lawnmower beer.
TheOrange (361), Kent, Ohio, USA Nov 20, 2008 Nice rich yellow color, with a med sized foamy white head. The initial aroma was strong esters and hops, but as with many of these, it fades fast. The flavor is true to the aroma, the hops are fresh, and the malts mild, there are some herby flavors, there too... Maybe little grassy. Very light bodied, and easy to drink. Beardface (258), Eugene, Oregon, USA Oct 20, 2008 Pretty much no taste or smell to this beer AT all, it’s like it wasn’t even there. A hint of citrus but it disappears right away. Very mediocre. msjacilynn (16), St Paul, Minnesota, USA Oct 18, 2008 bottle. hazy golden in color. very thin in taste with a hint of citrus flavors. smooth but not overly flavorful. bitter aftertaste. good summer beer. FlssmrBrewAlum (316), South Chicago Suburbs, Illinois, USA Oct 17, 2008 12 oz. bottle courtesy of the Binny’s Single Rack (Orland Park, IL). Poured a nice darker golden hue, mainly clear if not a touch hazed, with a small head that dissipates largely. Aromas are light, a bit grassy with some light sweetness in the nose. Taste is similar, a little more herbal with a touch of bitterness. Gentle. Smooth. Refreshing. That yummy crisp kolsch fruitiness.
