2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from bottle. Not much nose on this at all -- what there is is pretty typical citrusy hop. Color is gold-orange with some head and lace. Relatively clean taste -- pretty neutral, actually, for something thatís supposed to be an APA. Just not much there to it.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a boring, yellow-food-coloring-in-a-glass-of-water yellow with an aroma of bready orange juice, bready grapefruit, and a touch of sweet perfume. Flavor is a bready grapefruit that tries to be assertive but falls short. Average mouthfeel. Not a great beer but I think itís better than the overall percentile indicates.

My daughter just walked in and asked "what does Fling have to do with bicycles?". Good question, kids say the darndest things!

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Hazy light amber, off-white head, some lacing. Citrus, yeast aromas, similar to a witbier. Definitely tastes like a pale ale, though, with some bitterness on the back end. Crisp.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 ounce bottle from the Utah State Store. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head and some lacing. A sweet biscuit and honey nose. A full palate; rich toasted malts, sweet honey, smooth and light. Not much in terms of hops. Decent.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours golden into the glass, with a sudsy head that reduces to the tiniest of ring laces. The nose is of light dough... and I swear I pick up cinnamon. Flavors are of pale malts, grains and decent crisp bitters to finish. The mouthfeel is lively, but nothing stands out about this to me. Itís well put-together, but a tad boring. All of the aspects of an APA are technically "there", it just doesnít set itself apart from any other in the APA pack of offerings.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden with a small white head. Not much of a nose, has a fruity/doughy smell. A nice initial bitterness followed by a malty finish. A decent Pale.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Binnyís Beverage Depot in Orland Park, Illinois: This poured a clear golden boy with a frothy white head that pasted lace on the glass. The aroma was fruity with tart peaches and tangerines. The flavor has a light grainy malt and fruity hops followed by a stab of bitterness. Okay.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle; poured a ruddy amber color with an average off white head. Aroma of fruit and earth, with a bit of bread. Not a great aroma, but pretty aromatic for the style. Flavor was a bit unrefined and not really great, but at least it was assertive for the style and better than expected. Earthy and a touch fruity, with some yeast and mineral elements. For the style it was good.
