COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Mixed pack of 12 oz. bottles from grocery. Dark, golden and hazy. White head that dissipates to filmy foam. Faint aroma, maybe a touch of fruit (note: had a cigar prior to drinking this, probably not the best for tasting...) Sweet with light bitterness. Soft carbonation and an easy finish. A nice, easy drinking Hefe -- perfect for the spring weather we’re having in the PacNW.

On tap at the Cliff House. Very mild aroma with the faintest hint of clove and esters. Not a very strong nose. Looks nice, with cloudy golden amber body topped with a thin white head. Medium-light watery body with medium carbonation. Starts a little sweet with mild fruity esters and a bit of clove and wheat. Mainly kinda bland, watery - but not off. Orange is probably the biggest flavor component. Refreshing but not really much towards the style.

Bottle. Cloudy golden beer with a strong white head and quite a bubbly body. The aroma is lightly citric and yeasty, and the flavour is lightly bitter with gentle yeastiness and citrus. Overall a reasonable but average wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates too quickly. Aroma of moderate sweet grainy wheat. Taste is wheat with some malty sweetness and a low hop bitterness. Medium-lite in body, overall it’s a refreshing wheat beer, not sure why they called it a Hefe.
