Commercial Description:
Skillfully brewed with over 60% wheat malt (Bavarian tradition only calls for 50%), Pyramid's Northwest style Hefeweizen has a smooth body and a cloudy golden color. This crisp refreshing beer is unfiltered for extra flavor.

I like this beer, but in my book it is not a hefe. Sure its cloudy, but there is no banana clove flavor that is required of a German hefe. Why not just call it an unfiltered American Wheat? Still a decent tasting beer.

classic american hefe, lacking in the fruit spices of a german hefe, but with more of a citrusy aspect. light orange color and little nose

This is your average hefe. Light yellow body and a white head. Flavor is refreshing and clean. Smooth and pretty malty. Good on a hot day for sure...but there are better.

Had this at Pour24 at NYNY in Vegas on tap. A pretty typical Hefe Weizen. Nothing out of the ordinary. Creamy white head with a pale body. I would recommend a lemon with this one.

Poured a hazy yellow with a slightly foamy head. Aromas of wheat and yeast, not too much citrus like other hefeweizens. Taste was pretty good, but could use more citrus flavor. Very smooth overall.
