3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The colour of pink grapefruit juice; so hazy youíll never see through it (but understandable since it is unfiltered). The nose is clean but there is little aroma to ponder. The mouthfeel is nice but the flavor is uninspiring. This beer wuld be desirable as a thirst quencher on a hot day...not my favorite style of beer; it is what it is!

I feel lucky to find this beer at my local Club where mostly macro-bre fare is served. It has a nice look to it and it tastes great.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Really cloudy. Faint aroma. Itís mild for a hefe, which is good cause hefes are often overpowering.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
ceraintly not the best hefeweizen i've had, but still faitly good, saw it on the menu while on vacation in las vegas, decided to try it (didnt know it was a hefe, and from the description the waitress gave me, I thought it was going to be a corona clone, and that scared me, but i decided to try it), was served with a lemon. not great, but certainly worthwhile (especially when the only other beer on tap worth getting is guiness)

pretty good, I like it without the lemon. I still do not get that. It is like putting steak sauce on a steak, you hide the flavor.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Overall pretty good. Pours a pleasant yellow cloudy color. Pretty well balanced. A little more citrusy than I like my Hefe to be. Overall, I did enjoy this beer although Widmer brosí Hefe is better.

I tried this brew many years ago (or at least it seems like it) here in Seattle. I was rather disappointed in it's lack of flavor for a hefeweizen. Unforunately, it's served as the "go to" hefe around the Seattle area. Pyramid is capable of much better.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2005 Okay, hereís something to get out of the way so thereís no misleading: I drank this straight out of the bottle. So I didnít have much to go on for aroma, head and appearance. Letís just say I was intimidated into forgoing the glass.
Reminds me of Widmer Bros. Heffy with a little bit of citrus added in. Kind of bready and nondescript, except for the aforementioned citrus and fruits that provoked a little bit of thought. Not my style, but I think Iíd keep some handy for the friends. UPDATE - have had several more since and I rather like them, except the one I just had was really watery. Bad batch?
