junon (131), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Feb 19, 2008 Pours really nice and dare I say better than some German and Belgian options. Appearance would be its strongest point. Pyramid’s adaption as with most of the American wheats Ive tried lacks both the fruity nose and taste. Tastes more grassy or veggy than fruity. Its not bad by any means but not what I look for in a Hefe.
ajm (304), USA Aug 18, 2008 A weird combination of right on target and totally average. Appearance is standard while nicely cloudy, aroma is non-existent, flavor is smooth but not excellent. Usual notes of wheat, yeast, lemon. I only drink it on tap though. Montag (11), , Texas, USA Aug 13, 2008 Pours a glowing orange and hay colored, with a quickly dissipating head. A taste of orange citrus, though vanishingly small. Cool and refreshing without being overly complex, would be considered a good table wine if it were a wine. But as it’s a beer, it’s only worth ordering when there’s nothing better available. Still, it’s a solid beer. NoiZe (875), Zeist, Netherlands Aug 10, 2008 Tasted somewhere along my trip through the States.
Hazy yellow colored brew. Wheaty, citric and watery. Not that good, but refreshing. SHANER4 (200), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 8, 2008 Poured a glowing straw color with medium head. Aroma is faint, wheat and thats it. Not alot of flavor, tastes like I am drinking a home brew from a kit. This beer is not a drain poor but nothing I would buy again. kinda boring and tastes like cloves. nqualls (113), Tennessee, USA Aug 7, 2008 Poured a hazy yellow color with minimal head. Aroma is wheat and a faint citrus note. Flavor is mildly citrus, but mainly just wheat. Not the best in its style by any means.
