3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at Brouwer’s Cafe, Seattle
Aroma is slightly sweet with apricot, peach and citron. Flavour has mild smoke notes, some ash and hints of citron. Smoke gets stronger towards the finish and becomes a bit sticky like Schlenkerla Urbock does. Good.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap: light tan body with a thin white head and a fruity-floral tea-like aroma. Flavor was much the same with a soft sweetness of floral tea, a little apricot and malt, with a light bitter finish. I could not find the smoke in this, I even had the waitress check if this was the right pour. Not a favorite, too odd of flavor and thin on body.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught. Fast dissipating head with clear tan body. Aroma is understated. Some smoke and some malt. Flavour rings out, smokiness is understated, but is definitely there, and increases as the beer warms. Good finish
