2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours an unfiltered orangey-straw-brown color, looks a bit dirty. Rocky head with decent retention and lacing. Aroma of wheat, alcohol, sage and soap. The taste is dominated by the harshness of the alcohol and the yeast. Notes of cereal grain and mild bitterness. This is perhaps a style that shouldn’t be imperialized.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
1 Pint Bottle 2007 Brewer’s Reserve
Appearance- Pours Very Cloudy golden yellow with a large white bubble head. Some sediment from the bottle gout in to the Glass No lacing on the glass.
Aroma- Very sweet smell with a floral bouquet with a hint of fruit
T/P- Starts off very wheaty turning to a nice warm feeling which is more than likely due to the alcohol content of the beer. Defiantly has the taste of American wheat which I like, but if you do not and are looking for the strong banana and clove taste stay away from this one, they are there but barely
Overall- Not a bad hefeweizen but at the price not one that I would drink all the time. But would defiantly get more of to have on hand

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bottle. 2007 Reserve (pulled from the back of my fridge!). Poured a golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of cloves, wheat, and lighter bananas. Tastes of the same. Actually not too bad for a ’07 Hefe that has been sitting in the fridge long forgotten.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 ounce bomber. Hazy yellow with a white head. Looks like a classic unfiltered wheat beer. Smooth and drinkable for the alcohol content..

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
May have kept this too long. 2007 bottle. Pour dark yellow with a big foamy head. Nose of banana and alcohol. Light in body with lively mouthfeel. Flavor is bananas and clove. Seemed to have lost its pop but for a four year old unfiltered hefe it was not bad.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Strong banana and phenols on aroma. Hazy hay color with foamy white head. Fruity flavor of bananas and hefe yeast with slight tart bitterness on the finish. Lighter body with fizzy carbonation. Definitely a hefe, but the alcohol tempers the esters.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at TCBF, pours hazy golden yellow. Aroma and flavour of wheat, citrus, banana and something else I can’t put my finger on (some odd spice). Great for Pyramid’s standard.
