COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Czech-style Pilsner. Imperial Pils is a crisp, more intense version of a classic Pilsner. Light golden in color and carrying a heady herbaceous nose, it offers a dry bitterness on the palate and fresh, floral finish from the use of traditional Eastern European hops.

Malts:
2-Row Pale Barley, Pilsner, Vienna

Hops:
Nugget, Hallertau, Perle, Tettnanger, Vanguard

Bottle:   Hazy straw, moderate foamy white head, nice lacing. & nbsp Bright herbal and malty aroma.   Has a somewhat sweet candyish aspect that is unexpected.   Somewhat of a weird smelling Imperial Pils.   Not that sickly sweet heavy straw/hay, which is fine by me.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Finishes with a somewhat heavy sweet straw/hay with some fruitiness too.   Not bad, a little different.

Aroma is light herbal spicy hop and sweet pils malt. Appearance is hazy light apricot with small light tan head. Taste is sweet and malty. Firm crisp hop bitterness. Light aroma hopping comes through as spicy and herbal. Palate is medium full. Crisp hop bitterness breaks through sweet malt and lingers Overall a nice beer. Could have more malt complexity as an "Imperial" and more aroma hopping but still nice.

Golden brown with a thin head and nice lace. Bready aroma with a bit of spice. Flavor is crisp and bitter with coriander and rosemary. This is what a beer should be.

Bottle from Heritage Liquors. Rich yellow to slightly orange pour with a small spotty white head. Sweet grain / malt nose. Taste is syrupy sweet, and slightly medicinal. Not a fan of this.

Draft. Golden-amber beer with an off-white head. Malt and light mineral aroma. Malt and mineral flavor with light grass. Medium bodied. Mineral and light caramel lingers with light grass.

Oscbert (1056) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 6, 2013
~Bready biscuity aroma with slight fruity aroma with spicy floral hops. ~Pours a very clear golden color with long lasting fluffy white head. ~Strong spicy bitter hop floral flavor with biscuity malt sweetness. ~Medium bodied, with medium CO2, lasting spicy floral hop finish. ~The hops are a bit much on this. Too spicy. Not all that enjoyable.

Hearty bread malt character with a stale quality. Lightly sweet with dry hay and apple notes. Herbal hops with a light lemon citric note and a bit of musty earth.

A half finger of head on a clear, golden colored body with a few bubbles lazily floating up. The aroma is faint. A little hay and citrus come through. The taste has a nice boldness to it: moderately lemon bitterness with a good balance of malt, but avoids becoming sweet. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. A fine drink.
