Looks like a nice IPA. Dark crisp Amber with an inch of foam. Good malty hop scent. More hops than malt in flavour. Hops are nice. Body a trifle thin. OK.

Bottle:   Already better than I expected, nice head and lacing.   Soft burnt orange.   Seems like a nice balance, a bit grassy with some stray and hay, with a little touch of hops.   Wow, surprised by this one a bit.   I expected it to be out of balance, but so far I am impressed.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Nice smoothness, with a good bit of hops that don’t overbear on it.   Clean finish, quick, this one is good.   Deserves a better score than it has!   Well done Pyramid!!!

From bottle. Golden with a lot of creamy head. Aroma is pine resin and caramel. Taste is pine resin, biscuit, bitter citrus, and some sweet malt. Ultimately, a little too unbalanced in the sweet and bitter notes.

Very enjoyable brew. Laid back and mellow like you expect from a lager. A slight hint of hops, hence the "IP" nature. Overall, quite flavorful.

~citrusy hop and spicy hop aroma with bread, quite pleasant. ~Pours an amberish gold color with lasting creamy yellowish head, surprisngly hazy with visible particles. Strange for a lager..hop particles from dry hopping perhaps ~Citrusy hop and spicy hop flavor with caramel and bready malts. A bit bland. ~medium bodied with medium high Co2, lingering bitterness. ~Not as clean as I was expecting, Ill try another later. Drinkable, I rather just have a Sierra Nevada Pale ale.

12 oz bottle from Evergreen Discount. Amber and clear appearance with a small, dissipating, off-white head. Aroma of toasted grains, light toffee, citrusy hops, light pine and hay. Flavor of mild malt sweetness and light bitterness. Pretty smooth with a light to medium body. Drinkable, it’s OK.

Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver
Hazy amber color with small head. Light caramel aroma, a bit husky. Simple flavor, but with lean and drinkable caramel profile, with very light residual sweetness; correct hopping, not much hop qualities.
Easy beer.

The only reason for this beer?s bad ratings is beer snobs (distinct from craft beer lovers) can?t accept anything that isn?t an IPA. The lagering process leaves the malt clean, crisp, and refreshing, yet there are still many subtleties in the malt (which few hop-war IPA?s capture) and hops that make the entire experience fun and delicious. Ignore the snobs, you won?t regret it .

Bottle @ Greg’s dump, pregaming Trailhead Tuesday. Pours an amber, clear appearance with an off white head. Sweet biscuity, bready, caramel aroma with grapefruit and tangerine. Decent body. A bit of butterscotch. Caramel. Pretty high bitterness. Not very good.
