3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ Pyramid Taphouse - OAK airport: Clear, dark copper color with not much of a head. Aromas of hay, grapefruit and a little grass with fresh dew on it. The flavors are not offensive with some perfumy hops as well as some musty wet notes. Full body with a creamy feel. Certainly not the best 2IPA, but not bad.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle on HorizonAir trip to Seattle. Dark amber with moderate froth. Woody nose with spruce deeper in the scent. Refreshing woody malt and citrus beer. A high IBU drinkable beer rather than an aggressive in your face DIPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Poured clear dark orange with thick white head. Full citrus and spruce aroma. Full bodied, all over the tongue flavour, orange and naartjie. Lasting hop finish that takes forever to dissipate. Doesnít take as strong as it is.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very nice coppery gold yellow color with a dense white head that laces well. Nice hopy, grassy nose with hints of pine and citrus. Good bitter hop attack that melts into a grassy, pine citrus finish. Would be a great IPA, bit not quiet over the top enough to compete with the double IPA boys.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Celebrator 23rd Anniversary party 2011. It pours dark orange with an off white head. The aroma is tropical, toffee, and caramel. The flavor is caramel malty with toffee and some fresh pine and tropical fruit. A little sweet before a big, bitter finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle from a local Safeway. This has a nice head that stays quite fluffy for some time. The beer has a nice transparent copper color to it. Itís looking pretty, pretty good, I must say. This has a wonderful blend of a citrus grapefruit and pine hop aroma. Itís a very pungent beer. The texture is very slick, and quite nice. The beer has a bit of an astringent bitterness at the very end. At first you get a wonderful blend of the pine and grapefruit hop flavors. Itís not malty at all. I love that this is a very hop-forward beer. It has an odd carbonation sting to it that really affects the flavor. As this beer warms up, the bad characteristics come out. There is a subtle roasted peanut flavor hitting my taste buds. Overall, this has some wonderful qualities, and not so wonderful qualities. I think with a little tweaking, this should be stellar.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a very slightly hazy amber color with a 3/4 finger thick off white head. Very light lacing. Aroma is citrus and herbal hops. Flavor is citrus and floral hops with a nice balance of lightly sweetened toasted malt. Medium body. Pleasant finish. A nice beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Fresh bottle. Strongest hop component is pine, big Centennial and Cascade [though it seems I wrong about the latter] and some wintergreen papery tones that make me think Chinook. Transparent aluminum orange body with a short sticky beige head. Taste is alarmingly bitter, has that great, intense puckering-hop juice but without a ton of resin, reminds of having some Two Hearted on tap at The Vid but with brighter citrus, leafier hop matter, and none of the hipster draggle. Full body with alcohol a player, just not one that burns. This oneís for you, Versteeg!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Pours clear medium amber with a 2 finger off-white head. The nose is ripe citrus, caramel malts and light pine. The taste is toffee, overripe citrus, caramel, peppery hops and bitter resin in the finish that lingers on the tongue for awhile. Medium mouthfeel. Decent DIPA.
