4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz Bottle. The beer pours to a medium red/amber color with a small white head. The aroma has a strong resin floral hop smell to it. The taste is a medium body with a slight bitter hop finish. Overall a good DIPA.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Taco Mac. Mostly clear medium amber with offwhite creamy head. For an ipa, the aroma is more on the malty side; citrusy hops are in the background. Reverse course, when it hits the tongue - lots of juicy hops throughout - piney and then hits you with grapefruit bitterness. Medium body. Cool beer - a lot going on with this one, pretty bitter though.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Lots of carbonation which formed a large head, almost four fingers thick, which filled up almost half the glass despite some careful pouring, and tested my patience greatly. The aroma was quite citric (grapefruit, tangerine) with some floral undertones. The taste continued on the citric theme, with a tart bitterness, and a slightly spicy finish. Very clean malt presence contributed a balancing sweetness, and some tropical fruit flavors. Quite a sticky presence in the mouth, with lots of mouth coating feeling. Aftertaste was spicy and bit boozy. I enjoyed it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle poured into a tumbler.
Clear copper hue with a small off white head.
Fruity aroma (dried apricots, pomelo), with some resin and alcohol.
Juicy malt with lots of caramel flavors, intense hop flavors of bitter citrus peel, spicy and resiny with an alcoholic finish.
Med-full body, soft carbonation, rich but alcohol is too noticeable. OK.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz tulip glass on tap at the Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours a copper color with a finger of white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is bold citrus with some grains and caramel. Taste is a grapefruit bitterness with a grainy malt and caramel sweetness. Medium bodied with adequate carbonation. A well crafted and nicely balanced DIPA that is truly enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden amber with a fast-forming deep, frothy, bubbly head of yellow-white. Aroma is funky caramel clementine pulp hop. Taste is sweet caramel cream into piney hop grapefruit bitter. Nice dynamic contrast between aroma and flavor. Very well-balanced on the palate but fairly a hopfest. A thoughtful beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear dark copper color, with a moderate head and nice clingy lacing. Aroma pine and some grapefruit with malt sweetness and a bit of fruit in the background. The taste is a mix of grapefruit and bit of pine with some caramel sweetness and bit of fruit. Has a nice bitterness a bit tart and a clean finish. Medium body, crisp and quite refreshing. Nice beer for the style without being a hop bomb.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Raleys in Vacaville CA. Pours a hazy gold color and smells of citrus fruit. Very bitter and hoppy with the taste of once again citrus. A little unbalanced on the palate knocked it down a bit. Still a decent beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This brew is a slightly hazy amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Hoppy aroma with some citrus and malt behind it. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
