Bottle 5/19/13. Hazy orange/yellow color. Small head that dissipates. Floral/apricot and hoppy scent. Full mouth fizz sweeps through into a hoppy, alcoholic wash that channels through the center and edges of the tongue. Lively mouthfeel. Bitter aftertaste.

Draft at Pony Bar HK with Paul. Pours an amber body with light haze and white lacing. Aroma is sweet nugget hops, lots of sweet sugary caramel malt and booze. Mouthfeel is thick and syrupy with notes of astringent pine resin, lots of booze and super sweet caramel malts. This tastes nothing like an IPA - falls somewhere between an American strong and almost a barley wine.

A nice clear amber body with an off white head that had nice retention and great lacing. Aroma had some nice caramel malts upfront, a nice mix of pine, resin and slightly floral hops. Flavor had a good sweetness upfront from the malts, hops cut through it beautifully. Finish was slightly dry and the only disappointing feature was it being too light on the palate. Almost too easy to drink.

Aroma of caramel, pine and citrus.
Taste of pine, caramel, herbal hops, citrus and bread.
Full/medium body and low carbonation.

Outburst passes the test. Pours a golden honey / orange color with little to no head. Scent of pineapple and hops. Sweet, mildly bitter. Flavor is mainly orange and hops, notes of mixed citrus fruits. Outburst is definitely something I could kick it with. One of the better IPA's.

Bottle from Total Wine. Pours semi-clear orange with a small white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma leaves a lotto be desired with light caramel, light florals. The taste has a nice bitter bite with a bit of grapefruit and caramel.. dry finish. Tastes good but the aroma needs to complement.

On tap at Tap 42, Ft Lauderdale, pours a deep gold color with a small head. Nose is full of flavorful citrus, with well balanced bitter sweetness. Finish is long and bittersweet. Great DIPA Quaff Score 8 / 10
