3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazey amber body with a short but thick crown. Crisp floral hops, citrus, hints of pine, malts? Fuck the malts who needs them. Aroma a touch to mild. Taste is better, resin, pine, flowers, nice ballance. Earth and toast like malts, sweet yet bitter lingering finish. Good brew, lower end IIPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy light orange with a decent head. Some hop aroma bit a bit stale and cardboardish. Fairly bitter not very big for an imperial or for 8.5% OK for a macro-micro

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Unclear orange copper, small foamy off-white head fades. Citrus fruity hop aroma and taste, good dose of pine resin, deep boozy caramel malt, a bit spicy, some herbal and floral notes. Softer than average carbonation, medium-full bodied, more aggressively hopped. A little light for an Impy but still: NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Bottle. It is what it is, ya know? A pleasant yet over simplified version of the DIPA. For Pyramid, pretty tasty.

Poured a deep golden with a nice, fluffy head. Citrus aromas with a fairly thick malt breadiness. Could have a better balance. I’m looking for more with an "Imperial IPA".

Copper with a central cone and rim of fine cream foam. Smells of toffee malts, some herbal hops, citrus, resin and some pine. A little subdued for an IIPA. Malt, crystal malts and some sweet bubble gum flavors in the back. Some moderate bitterness but not really much remarkable hop flavor. Medium bodied with over hi carb and a semi dry finish. This beer is meh.

A: Pours a dark amber, red tones. single finger off white head dissipates to thick sheet of the same. Foam only evidence of carbonation.
S: Resiny, pine, almost skunked. Very one dimensional for an Impy IPA. Not impressed.
T: Very malty for an IPA. Little bitterness. Poorly applied hops. Almost like they hopped it for bitterness, then added some at the dry hop. Not crafty, but marketable.
M: Medium heavy for the style. Medium carbonation. Decent feel.
D: This beer is nearly sessionable. At 8.5% ABV, the beer is highly drinkable. Not a good example of the style though. 3/2/2.5/3/2.5~2.83

Decent value for an IIPA, though not as good as New Belgium Rampant... Hop aroma is piney, flavor adds hints of citrus with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Poured an amber with a finger frothy off white head. Aroma is a mix of hops and sweet malts. Taste is floral hops with a sweet malt balance, not harsh for an DIPA.

Cloudy amber pour, floral hop aroma. Nice mix of malts and hops up front. Nice bitter hop finish. I had no idea thus was 8.5%, great beer

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber with a rather large cap. Aroma is standard with citrus, caramel, toffee and mild floral hops. Taste is ok with caramel, floral hops, vinous/vegetal notes and some alcohol creeps in on a slightly below average bitter finish.
