Bottle. Nose is rather hoppy, with a lot of grass and herb elements that combine for a bit of earthiness. Taste is only a little bitter, and ends up feeling fairly light. However, there’s nothing terribly remarkable about this beer. Meh.

Brought out of retirement for the Spring variety 12-pack... Jesus, it is hard to believe it has been 10 years since I had one of these. Pours with a 2 finger off white sorta foamy looking head... the brew is clear polished amber... splotchy lacing. Floral/lightly citrus hops are nicely balanced by a bigger than expected pale malt presence that is also carrying a bit of caramel and toasty notes. Starts a bit sweeter than I normally like, but it moves seamlessly into floral hops... just enough bitterness to really balance it all out... finishes with a lingering perfumy hoppiness. Body seems a bit bigger than most standard APA’s... Still pretty drinkable and goes down easily. No flaws really, it just seems like this one shows the age of when it was first brewed and now seems antiquated.

Semi bitter light mahogany color. Not much flavor for what you’d expect. Non existent head. Astringent. Ginger cough drop

No head, barely any aroma. A tiny bit of sweet caramel on the nose. Watered down hops. Not very good.

Moderate hop aroma with hints of malts. Hazy orange-red color with a small white head. Lightly bitter throughout. Fades slowly in the finish.

Appearance was clear reddish honey copper amber with creamy diminishing off white 1 finger head, spotty lacing throughout. Aromas where sweet bisciuty caramel pale matls. Hops where of resinous ctrus lemons with slight pine, herbal spices, no alcohol present. Taste was sweet pale, caramel malts upfront, then the lemony, piney slight grass resinous hops in the back. Palate was smooth creamy carbonation with mediium body The long smooth piney and malty balanced finish was a touch of caulk. A Good Pale, taste better as it warms up...
