12 oz bottle from Country Club Liquors. Nose of floral hops, light fruitiness, and a vanilla note. Clear dark copper with a big beige head. Flavor is caramel, light bitterness, and light sweetness.

Wanted something a little lighter to marinade tri-tip with so I gave this a try. I liked this lager as it had more body to it than most. Looks more IPAish, which I guess should be expected. A lot more carbonation that I would have liked, but the malt/hop balance over came than. Decent middle of the road beer.

12oz shorty bottle. Highly filtered amber-tan, almost transparent. Nice frothy head. Piny, soapy hops and brewery malt. The taste is malt centered, with a solid hop backbone. Some smooth caramel flavors, very well balanced. This finish is a touch thin, but it does help keep it drinkable. Above par Amber in my opinion.

12oz bottle 5/21/09 (Binnyís Naperville)-Pours a clear light amber with a nice small tight off white head. Aroma of malt, grains, and caramel. Taste of the same with some added sweetness. This light bodied brew is not bad. Easy drinking.

Picked up a sixer of this stuff from Stater Brothers because we had a bunch of non beer nerds over for dinner and I just wanted something everyone would be ok with. Plus, this was on sale for $5.99. Not bad, really. Kind of reminds me of Karl Strauss Amber Lager. Itís super easy to drink, and quite nice on a 90 degree day like today. Itís really not hoppy in the slightest, more of a dark lager. Kind of surprised that this was 6% really. It seems more like a 4% beer. This is good battle armor to have against the Poway sun, and itís actually pretty good.

A strong burst of hops in the nose, but a very balanced and tasty brew. Pretty good stuff.

For those of you looking for a hopped up amber, this one is trying to please you. It falls a little short of said goal, but it is drinkable enough.

pours a clear pale light amber with an orange tint, a small egg-shell head, and good lacing. smell is of grain, few malts, touch of citrus, some fruit, and ends with a little floralness. taste is crisp, yet smooth, a little hop kick to it, some grain, some citrus, and light on the sweet malts, ends with a little bitterness.

Pours dark golden with a mostly maintained foamy off-white head. Aroma of toasted malt, bread dough, herbal and fruity hops. Taste is sweet and malty, toasted caramel malt with some floral piney hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lingering sweetness. Fairly good.
