Dark Hazy Brown. The smell gives the impression of a sweet caramelized malts, figs, barley and hops. The flavor does have that but it isn’t as strong as the smell, which is a bit disappointing. It is however a drinkable, if not, fairly good beer.

Poured from a bottle nice carmel color not much head and goes away fast malty nose nice and smooth but expected more chocolate and little more hoppy over all a decent beer for a lite winter beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yeasty vanilla and a bit of choc. Maybe a lil bit of citrus as well. Its a deep red mostly clear and a white head. Tastes sweet and yeasty much like a trappist or an abbey. I can taste alcohol in the aftertaste and a very sweet and malty taste. Its a medium heavy body. Overall not a bad brew

Rich mahogany color. Light tan head with lacing. Crystal malt aroma. A little bit if spice and euro/earthy hops as well. Flavor is very British. Fuggles and/or EK Golding hops. A bit of toasty breadiness to the flavor. A mild fruity finish. I get apples in the finish. ---Rated via iPhone

Amber red with thin lacy White head, medium to light body; notes of vanilla and caramel and cherry; finishes dry hoppy; aroma is light

Pours a dark amber with a light head. Aroma is hoppier than I’d imagine but not overwhelmingly so. Flavor also has a good hops presence with a decent malty-sweet backbone. Solid winter ale.

Pours a mahogany color with an off white head that leaves great lacing. Smells of roasted malt, caramel, toffee and molasses. Tastes of caramel, toffee, chocolate molassas, toffee and nuts. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with good carbonation. Overall this is a great tasting winter warmer with a lot of flavor one of the better ones available in the Seattle area.

Warm, roasted malts flavor; slight nutty undertone. Strong finish. Quality stuff, like everything I’ve had from Pyramid.

Deep copper, clear, tan head. Aroma is malty with some toffee and light toast, some spicy hop aroma as well. Flavor: malty balance, more toasty and light chocolate in flavor than aroma, finishes within a little roasty edge and light hop bitterness. Full-bodied, drinkable winter warmer.

Very cloudy molasses color with a thin head and very soapy lacing. Taste is spicy with lots of caramel malt and a molasses aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
