3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours dark brown with something resembling a small head - it disappeared so quickly Iím not sure it was even there. Smells of malts and prunes with some other sweet fruitiness. Tastes about the same with some sourness and astringency towards the end. Medium-heavy body. Not bad, nothing special.

Nice color, nice nose. Had a molasses hit that got stronger with each sip. Best Christmas beer I drank this year.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was a nice warmer. It poured a steady brown. Aroma was alcoholic and malty. Flavour was full and definitely warming. There were hops on the bottom of the swallow that made for a good contrast to the sweetness. Iíd love to have a steady supply of this one.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ home. Pours in mahogany with a foamy two fingered head that quickly dissipates and leaves nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet fruit and some spice. Flavor is sweet almost cloyingly so. There is some nuttiness and spice in the background. The finish is mildly bitter (hops). Mouthfeel is medium. Average winter warmer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a nice winter warmer. A dark copper pour with a full beige head. Aroma is of spice and malts. A very pleasant balance of malt and hops compliments the alcohol undertones. As this winter ale warms hints of chocolate, sweet malt and spice come through. Very good
