Winter Warmer. A rich, full-bodied winter warmer crafted in the British tradition of holiday beers. This deep mahogany colored brew balances complex fruit flavors with a refreshingly smooth texture.

Thin brown color. Burning malt aroma. A strong rubbing alcohol taste. Burnt smell and flavor. Weak palate and long lasting aftertaste that wasnt very pleasant.

The only good thing about this is the alc. percentage. Otherwise, move along to some other holiday brew

Deep dark red in colour. Sweet malty aromas... especially chocolate malt. Woody and somewhat astringent flavor. Some mild berry flavor as well. Quick finish. Not very impressive.

bottle 12 oz. 2004. bought this cause it was on special for $4.99/6. Dk brown/mahogany w small tan head that quickly diminished to a very thin ring, no lace. Aroma was cheap/macro attempt at a seasonal w some malt and min hops. Flavor is rather weak med/drk roasted malt w a pronounced bitterness on the palate and in the finish. Hop flavor is minimal. The malt flavor is a burst initially then fades quickly with the bitterness being predominant. Toward the dry. Unbalanced. Not enough malt and hop flavors. Lacks richness. Well into med bodied for a small moment then the quick fade into the bitterness. Some alcohol is noticible. I will never buy this again and will be even more leary of anything Pyramid now.

Description of "deep mahogany" is right...but no complex fruit flavors in my beer. no head with just a small hint of spice.

Moderately malty aroma with hints of nutmeg and allspice. Ugly brown color with a fairly thin white head that does last a while. Initial flavor is slightly sweet but gives way to an odd spice bitterness that is somewhat unpleasant. Not sure exactly what spices they are using but there’s something in it and I don’t like it. Not absolutely horrible but it’s not really something I like.

Strong, spicy smell. Red colored beer with amber head that disappears quickly. Very spicy taste that burns. Lightly alcoholic aftertaste.

Dark reddish-brown, clear, with thin head. Sweet malt, roast, and carmel aromas. Roast, carmel, with hop finish. Fairly bitter finish.
