3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy medium gold/orange,nice inch of head, retaining great lacing and a short froth on top.
Aroma appears to have some herbal, slight fruit and some malt/carmel.
This was room temp six-mixer bought so I have no idea the storage/age on this. It seems to be Ok but not real fresh.
Foamy mouthfeel,medium/medium-full bodied.Im getting some light herbal but alot of grapefruit which Im not familiar with Columbus hops doing the grapefruit thing. There is some pretty sweet carmel/vanilla maltiness, and a pretty generous hop profile/bittering.Piney/Rindy/Grassy lingering bittering finish. Yeah, this is an ipa for shure.

Good IPA, fairly bitter, hoppy, overall pretty decent, and a pretty rare bill

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours deep amber with a white head and some yeast sediment. Aromas of malt and cereal, floral. Taste is oranges, spice, malt, a hint of pineapple, and hop bitterness, with a slight sour note. Mouth-coating bitterness. Lacking some depth and balance.

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From bottle at Hops in New West. A nice amber in color, perhaps a bit on the darker side. Bitter hops assault the nose and tongue, but hearty malts rush in to save the day! Yay! 3.7.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pyramid Thunderhead IPA is a hazy, sparkling, deep golden ale with a smooth, dense, off white head that has excellent retention and lacing. It has a pine resin aroma with a touch of citrus peel. It has a very smooth and soft medium body with a dry finish that leaves the mouth a little gritty. The flavor is simple and well balanced with a smooth biscuity malt and a healthy piny bitterness. It has a long, bitter grapefruit peel finish. This is a nice, drinkable West Coast IPA that’s nice and bitter, but not super strong.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle. Pours a light amber with a quickly receding head. Big hop aroma and bitterness but not much flavor to this one. It is not bad tasting just a bit on the bland side.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
6-pack with Erica in Wildwood/Cape May. Pours a light whiskey color with minimal, light-colored lacing that quickly fades. Aroma and palate are both heavily floral and a touch earthy/caramel. Not that bitter. Sweet, malty finish. Better than I was expecting.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Chalky mouthfeel with a sidecar of bumbling floral notes. Tastes of green tea and vinegar. Not the most crafty IPA on the market. Pyramid needs to restructure this brew before I crane my neck back and drink it again.
