3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice Burst of Hops upon first tasting the brew. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth with extreme pungency. Oh, nice amber colour with a head that looks impressive albeit short lasting. The Aroma is Strong and Acrid, almost Gassy. A very interesting beer and fun to Hoist. I imagine it would be a good compliment for BBQ Dishes like Brisket cause of hops flavours enhancing the Smoke and BBQ Sauce. Enjoy!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle. Pours brownish orange with thin white head. Some lacing. Aroma was of hops, citrus, hops, with a bit of floral. While the flavor is mainly hops, as it should be, thereís not much else to balance it out. There isnít much complexity to this brew. Palate was medium bodied, with a strong bitter finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Gold color, head retained to a thin lace; looks refreshing.
Slight citrus smell, nothing jumps out at you. Not too complex. Strong bitterness, yet very drinkable. Hops bite at your tongue leaving a citrus after taste.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Smelled of orange and citrus. Poured a hazy orange copper color in the glass, topped by a thick white head that lasted only briefly. Tasted of oranges followed by the full flavor of the citrusy hops. Bitter in the middle and finished clean. A crisp mouthfeel. An enjoyable IPA, but lacking in complexity of flavor. Good nonetheless.

Kinda bitter and hoppy for an IPA but I enjoyed it plenty.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2010 Poured into a tumbler. This bottle said best by 6/9/10. I had high hopes for this one since it has a relatively high ABV and I go for the aggressive IPAs. But this is pretty average. Classic bright amber color and a good, rich head forms. But the smell is off somehow. Not enough hops to go with the bready malt. Maybe its better on tap or when it is fresher but these hops donít smell bright or floral at all. Similarly with the taste, the hops are just dull and tired. They donít dance and pop on your tongue like you would hope. The malty sweetness aids the drinkability but I donít know if it helps or hinders the hops. It does have a resiny suppleness to it that is well crafted and it finishes fairly clean and crisp.

Poured nice orangish color with decent and head and good lace throughout. musky smell. Wasnít a huge fan of this IPA. Not the type of hops I like I guess. More importantly--not enough balance with malt. Raw, yellow grapefruit, thined out mouthfeel. After taste thatís bruisng on the palate.

Pours slightly hazy golden tan with thin head. Hops are bitter, slightly odd aftertaste. Don't plan to purchase again.
