ChrisBeest (43), Corvallis, Oregon, USA Feb 18, 2002 I loved it. Then again, I pretty much love all IPA’s
tarheels86 (44), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Oct 12, 2008 Pours almost yellow with little head and low carbonation. Very bitter and unbalanced from the hops. But the hops is not smooth or citrusy or enjoyable. It is almost like chewing on raw hops buds. Aftertaste is similarly raw hops and very bitter and lingering. I would say too low gravity and too many IBUs. Edgekrusher (58), , Alabama, USA Oct 8, 2008 Light amber color with no head. Aroma of hops and citrus, but minimal. Taste of citrus and malts. Again, weak for an IPA. Refreshing, but seems macrobrew in effort. dp (488), uniontown, Ohio, USA Sep 27, 2008 bitter, hops make this very bitter, yet a sense a hint of malt, not certain how to explain the aroma other than a malty IPA? a good effort stchloe (197), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 27, 2008 Very bitter IBU, but the hop profile is simplistic and could be improved. Otherwise tasty IPA. Delirium (433), Santa Cruz, California, USA Sep 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear golden-amber with a moderate white head. Aroma is grassy and grainy, with some pine and citrus hops, and a bit of sweet malt. Flavor is an odd combination of sweet caramel malt, vegetal character, pine and citrus hops, and in the finish, quite bitter, woody hops. Hint of alcohol. Not bad.
