3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bhensonb (9004) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 6, 2013
Pours darkly hazy orange/amber with a beige head. Aroma is malty aneda bit citrus. Flavor is not quite malty, but sort of. And there’s a dose of citrus. Not untasty.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 bb (5888) - Alamo, California, USA - JUN 29, 2012
Bottle. Amber beer with a light tan head. Malt and light pine aroma. Grapefruit and woodsy flavor with light malt. Medium bodied. OK bitterness. Grapefruit and woodsiness linger with light pine and light malt.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 riversideAK (5413) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Nose of light grapefruit and wheat malt, touch of lemon. Pours golden amber, thin head. Flavors of light grapefruit up front, wheat malt in the middle, a little caramel, and lemony citrus finish. Lightly floral as well. Hops are mild in terms of assertiveness, and sweetness is medium. Decent carbonation and mouth feel.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 10, 2012
Bottle: Amberish, fairly clear, thin frothy off-white head, fairly nice lacing. Soft pithy nose, a bit of hop but its subdued. Not detecting the wheatiness, but compared to the pithiness it may not be too noticeable. Hmm, an interesting citrusy hoppiness right up front. Surprised its this citrusy. I expected more of a wheatiness, in flavor and body but that is not to be found. Backside is loaded with pith and citrus rind like hop flavors. While not overly hoppy, it has a mild bitterness. Really not sure what part the "Wheaten" plays in this, but its minor. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Very pithy on the finish, with mild citrus like bitterness. Not half bad, but if I were to say that this was a well balanced Wheat IPA I would be lying. Its certainly on the IPA side. Respectable at least.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 BrewDad (4256) - Olympia, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Golden in color, hazy with a thin head. Big wheat flavor and aroma. Light IPA hops backing. Nice easy drinking beer. Tad too light with hops.

A pretty decent IPA with some hops and a nice dark color but a certain heaviness from the wheat that isn’t good.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 boFNjackson (3580) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 7, 2012
Bottle... Poured clear amber with a moderate, eggy, off-white head which faded quickly. Nose had some wheaten spiced and sweet malts with a dollop of hops. Mild on the hoppy front with citrus and pine. Balanced and low bitterness. The wheat has really tamed the hops here.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 Aubrey (3347) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - JAN 31, 2013
Fresh nose with hints of yeast and wheatgerm. Light body; relatively refreshing. Fairly flavorful up front, but seems to thin, dry out and lighten up toward the finish, with one last rush of hop bitterness. Lots of bitter citrus -- grapefruit rind and lemon mostly. Mild sweetness (white cake and caramel) kind of struggles to keep up with the lingering bitterness.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sledutah (3200) - Utah, USA - JAN 8, 2013
12oz bottle from Total Wine
Appearance: Pours clear dark amber with a small foamy beige head and some lacing left as is dissipates quickly to a small ring
Aroma: Dusty, earthy hops, caramel and citrus

A nice, easy drinking IPA.
