COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boldly hopped with Delta and Mt Hood, and again dry-hopped in fermentation, our Wheaten IPA is both pleasantly bitter and full of citrus and hop aroma. A subtle blend of specialty malts and malted wheat compliment the hoppy characteristics creating a unique beer that is a direct nod to Pyramid’s rich northwest heritage.

Hazy burnt orange with a short head. Aroma of tea, soy, nutty malt, and grassy hops. Light, dry bitter flavor. Light-med body, oily texture, soft carbonation, and a solid bitter finish.

pours out dark orange with a head that disappears quickly. I didn’t care for the aroma. The bread and doughy malt seems to take away from the citrus hops. Just an average beer at best.

Crisp and mildly sweet. Grass and light lemon. Some fruit and wheat. Smooth and velvety. Nice drink.

Golden in color, hazy with a thin head. Big wheat flavor and aroma. Light IPA hops backing. Nice easy drinking beer. Tad too light with hops.

Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a thich white head that leaves good lacing. Smells of wheat, citrus, and pine. Tastes of all the same things in the smell. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy with a semi dry finish. Overall this is a good tasting northwest ipa with a nice added wheat flavor. Was only on tap for the longest time. Glad they finally bottled it.

Pours darkly hazy orange/amber with a beige head. Aroma is malty aneda bit citrus. Flavor is not quite malty, but sort of. And there’s a dose of citrus. Not untasty.

Fresh nose with hints of yeast and wheatgerm. Light body; relatively refreshing. Fairly flavorful up front, but seems to thin, dry out and lighten up toward the finish, with one last rush of hop bitterness. Lots of bitter citrus -- grapefruit rind and lemon mostly. Mild sweetness (white cake and caramel) kind of struggles to keep up with the lingering bitterness.

Bottle at SBT. Roasty orange, drying orange hops. Big on the finishing hops for the most part. Foamy, creamy body, lots of alc from the hops. Green grass, wheat. Strong dry hops. Pretty good, though not a big fan of this malting.

Pretty good. The aroma was light and citrusy, hint of hop. Appearance was amber orange with not much head decent legs. Taste was light, fruity, citrus hop easy to drink the body is malty light but wheat wasnt super aggressive, not bad. Good combo. Palate is some hops with maltiness to clear it, low ibus. Decent, for a commercial beer, I liked it.

Nose of light grapefruit and wheat malt, touch of lemon. Pours golden amber, thin head. Flavors of light grapefruit up front, wheat malt in the middle, a little caramel, and lemony citrus finish. Lightly floral as well. Hops are mild in terms of assertiveness, and sweetness is medium. Decent carbonation and mouth feel.
