Screw-cap bottle: Deep golden, medium-sized white head; moderate sweet pale-malty nose with a bready touch, faint traces of hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft and medium bodied; solid sweet-bitter finish with bread and hops in the very end. A goody.....

ogreface (1345) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 5, 2010

Bottled. A golden beer with a huge white head where the underside is green - odd. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and a bit of minerals. The flavor is sweet with notes straw and malt, leading to a dry finish.

0,5 l bottle, bought at Sörspecialista.hu
Clear golden beer with a nice pillowy-foamy, stable white head. Good lookin’. Aroma of malt and caramel, some moderated sourish yeast, some lurking herbal-flowery hop. Balanced aroma...Medium body on the palate with a wide malt base, some caramel, bottom fermentation yeast, mild flowery hop that gets more power in the aftertaste. Balanced, not a big deal but very enjoyable.

(screw cap bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly sweet and bready malty aroma with a shy touch of biscuits and grains. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly bready and grainy pale malt-character with a slowly rising hoppy touch towards the finish with grassy and herbal accents. A hearty and quite balanced Festbier. 27.VII.11

Bottled. Spritzy golden with a light head; crisp citric aroma, surprisingly low in malt character for a maerzen; some lime zest and toffee apple. A bit of a surprise packet

Golden colored with little white head, lively carbonation. Malty aroma with some grains and sweet caramel. Medium bodied. Flavor is also nice with same sweet caramel and malty notes dominating, some herbal hopped note also here. Aftertaste is sweet still with some flowery note. Good one.

Grima (2098) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - OCT 5, 2011
330ml screw top bottle
Crystal clear, golden color with pearly head that disappears quickly. Smells malty, spicy, slight aroma hops. Starts dominant malty, spicy, very sweet in the background. The middle part brings out a beautiful grassy hop aroma, coupled with a bready malt aroma. Grassy-hoppy in the finish again, and well-balanced bitter-sweet!
